Timber Lake Playhouse (TLP), the premier professional summer theatre of northwest Illinois, continues its 58th Season with the hysterical play, Noises Off.

Called “the funniest farce ever written,” Noises Off presents a manic menagerie of nomadic actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing’s On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and a whole lot of sardines all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play.
Noises Off is directed by Chicago director, Kevin Theis, who directed last summer’s hit comedy, Baskerville.  "It is a director's dream to be able to work on 'Noises Off' as there isn't a funnier or more challenging play in existence.  The cast and I have been working on overtime to bring the show to life and I cannot wait to share what we've done with TLP's audiences." says Theis.

"The most dexterously realized comedy ever about putting on a comedy. A spectacularly funny, peerless backstage farce. This dizzy, well-known romp is festival of delirium." - The New York Times

Noises Off stars New York actor, Laura Speath along with TLP Resident Acting Company, James Tweedale, Blake West, Evan Bertram, Morgan Arrivillaga, Conor Jordan, J. C. Barry and Rebecca Marowitz.

Noises Off opens Thursday June 20th and runs through Sunday June 30th. Tickets available online at www.timberlakeplayhouse.org or by calling the Box Office, (815) 244-2035.
