IowaWORKS will provide career services in Clinton

- IowaWORKS will now offer in person career services at the Clinton Public Library, 306 8th Avenue. Beginning April 18 through June 27, a career planner will be on hand every Thursday from 9 am until 5 pm. "We are excited to provide services to the Clinton Iowa community," said Rick Ernst, operation manager at the IowaWORKS Davenport - American Job Center.

"Bringing our services to Clinton will help our customers in this region and will provide the opportunity for us to meet their employment needs. Having a presence in Clinton will bring in customers from the surrounding communities like DeWitt, Preston, and Camanche."

Services provided include:

• Job Search
• Registered Apprenticeship
• Soft skills training
• Mock Interviews
• Virtual Workshops
• Referrals to educational opportunities
• Unemployment insurance
