Market Music – The Unidynes
Market Music – The Unidynes. On Wednesday, June 7th from 5 to 7 p.m., bring your lawn chairs, some money to shop at the Farmer’s Market, and then kick back to listen to some great music. In 1986, The Unidynes started pumping out some of the finest blues in the Midwest. They blended blues, roots rock, old school country with a little swing and jump creating a unique sound called "industrial strength blues". The band now consists of Dave Schneider on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Dave Layton on stand-up bass and saxophone, Kevin Kash on lead guitar, and Chuck Soenksen on drums. Clinton Public Library Market Music Concerts coincide with the Lyons Farmer’s Market and are sponsored once again by the Clinton Jaycees Foundation. The library appreciates the support offered by the Clinton Jaycees and we’d like to thank them. These free concerts will be held on selected Wednesday nights this summer at the Four Square Park Bandshell.
