This year’s event will feature a Soul Food dinner of fried chicken, greens, cornbread and sweet potato pie. The afternoon will also include time for discussion and performances by The Clinton Community Children’s Choir and Ebony Illusion. After dinner, participants are invited to join in a civil-rights walk reenactment to conclude the celebration. The celebration will also include the presentation of the 16th annual MLK Peace and Justice Award to recipients Lori Freudenberg & William Woods, PhD.
