CNOY is a moment each year when tens of thousands of Americans step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of welcome and compassion in their communities. Since 2011, the Coldest Night of the Year has raised over $57,000,000 across Canada in 166 communities – 100% of net proceeds stay local to support our CNOY charity partners.

The event is FREE to participate in however, each walker is invited to join up with a team and fundraise at any amount for the YWCA Empowerment Center. YWCA Empowerment Center works hard to ensure that each person in our community has access to shelter and warm meals during even the coolest temperatures. Individuals who fundraise a minimum of $150 are given a one of a kind Coldest Night of the Year beanie for their support. Individuals who fundraise as much as $500 are given this year's exclusive Coldest Night of the Year Hoodie.
